A written notification to the registration office is required for cancellation. Please mail your cancellation email with the subject "MFI 2016 Cancellation" to vde-conferences@vde.com.

All items can be canceled for a processing fee of 30.00 €. However, when canceling a registration of which the coupon code for the final paper submission has been used, an additional paper submission fee of 350.00 € will be subtracted from the refunded amount.

After August 29, 2016, no refunds will be provided for cancellations. All refunds will be provided after the conference.

Very important: In case of a visa rejection the normal refund policy applies. Apply for visa as soon as possible. The refund policy is strict and no exceptions will be made.

In order to apply for membership/student discount, a copy of the respective certification is required. Please mail your copy of your membership/student certification with the subject "MFI 2016” to vde-conferences@vde.com. If you fail to provide membership/student proof, full registration fee applies.

• Access to all technical program activities with the exception of the tutorials, which have a separate fee.

• Access to all social program activities, including one welcome reception ticket and one gala dinner ticket. Additional tickets for accompanying persons can be obtained at the cost of 30.00 € for the welcome reception, and 60.00 € for the gala dinner, respectively.

• Access to coffee-break refreshments.

• Coverage for up to 2 papers. Cost for extra paper submissions is 350.00 € per paper. Extra pages (more than 6) are 100.00 € per page.

Student registrations provide all the benefits of regular registrations, but do not cover any paper submission. Cost for extra paper submissions is 350.00 € per paper. Extra pages (more than 6) are 100.00 € per page.

A student is a person that is officially registered as a Bachelor, Master, or PhD Student at a University.

The tutorial fee is 150.00 € per tutorial.

Tutorials can be added to an existing registration at any time before the tutorials day on September 19 by sending an email to Olga Oberländer at VDE conference services (Olga.Oberlaender@vde.com).
